    Belkin: Changing the Wireless Channel

Does it matter if it is using the 2.4ghz band or can the xbox one support 5ghz too?

Can't obtain IP address - intermittent

    Hi,

Make sure the Belkin is running the latest version of firmware

Try changing from WEP to WPA2-PSK(AES) (this change will mean all other wireless clients will have to reconnect to the network and enter the new password)

If you still have an issue after that try changing your wireless channel on the router to a different channel

I KEEP GETTING DISCONNECTED FROM LIVE !!!!

Here's all the information you need on that Belkin.

I would try changing the wireless channel, but only if your Xbox is wireless. I would also change the wireless mode to G only. Have you made any changes to your set up? Have you maybe got some wireless headsets recently? Post
back and let us know what happens with this and answers to the questions. I hope it helps you out!

    Disconnecting from Live

The phone is connected to the Modem that is provided by our ISP, and the Phone is near the Router, but They have to be near eachother because both are connected to the Modem. I called Belkin and they tried to help, was on the phone with them for an hour
and it didn't get fixed. It did involve changing Wireless Channels. So, IDK what to do. Probably gonna try to contact my ISP and Belkin again.

    Xbox one connection!

    Greetings Pandaa!

Could you have your console's network settings set to obtain IP and DNS automatic.

Visit Belkin website and make sure your wireless gateway is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware (F5D8636-4 V2). Whenever you update the software version for your router, make sure you reset this device to factory defaults after it has been
    updated.

Access the Utility interface of your router and make sure UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is turned on.

You can also try change the wireless channel manually on your wireless router, to see if the wireless signal strength will improve. Experiment with the following channels (that are non-overlapping channels):
    1, 6, 11.

Post back and let us know how that goes.
