    Cannot connect to specific friend

I definitely have a Belkin- I don't see an option for an SPI firewall, would it be listed as something else?

    Strict NAT type

i had a Belkin router and could not for the life of me get my NAT off strict. tried port-forwarding, disabling firewall, power saver mode, DMZ, everything. spent hours on support with MS, Comcast, and Belkin, still nothing.

finally comcast said they could replace my modem with a combination router/modem, eliminating my need for the belkin router. i got the new device and instantly my NAT was open. in closing,

    BELKIN IS TRASH.

Nothing in PPPoE section. The router firewall is on at the moment but we've never been able to turn that off without loosing internet so I'm not going to touch that. Router model is a Belkin: f5d8633
