    Cannot install Wasteland 3 or Halo Master Chief Collection on Xbox game pass for PC


    Hi,

    I have been trying to install both games mentioned in the title.

    Windows 10 x64 home, 300+gb free on windows drive, 250GB free on other drive.

    Using Xbox games app for PC with subscription. I had the games installed before however due to an unsolvable problem wherein windows 10 would not open the windows store or update, I reinstalled from scratch.

    I have the latest version of windows and all drivers.

    I have tried installing both games independently. Smaller games (3 or 4 gb) install fine.

    The content downloads to 100% then I get an error code which from searching online seems to suggest the game installer thinks I do not have enough free space.

    I have tried both system drive and the secondary drive. I have total 550GB free and I think that should be enough for a 38GB game.

    I'm going to be cancelling my sub if this nonsense continues, Microsoft after all these years still seems incapable of creating a decent gaming product.

    I'm sure if I pay for office it will install at the first go.

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    The PC version isn't coming out all in one go like it did on the Xbox, its coming out in stages with Halo Reach being the first release on December 3.

    You can't install it yet as it's too early.
