    So on 8/1/19 i bought fortnites 1000 vbucks and starter pack ever since i have bought then i have not been able to purchase any form of microtransaction. For example when i try to purchase the vaporwave skin pack for minecraft the purchase pop up tab wont
    load. This happens to me for every game i try to buy something on. I also restarted my xbox many times. If anyone knows why this is happening and how to fix it please let me know.

    Good Morning Zombie Boy DJT,

    There could be a number of ways to troubleshoot this. Firstly, check your Credit/Debit card statement and validate that the 8/1/19 transaction did actually post. Normally, when something like this comes up, the amount was either unpaid or went past the allocated
    funds on the specific card. For example, if you purchased it via credit card, and the transaction was left as pending and never posted, MS can justify not allowing the account to purchase items. Same thing would be going past your debit limit and going into
    the negatives.

    Next thing you can do is go into your account privacy settings and check content restrictions and see if your account is allowed to purchase content. Same thing could go for family settings.

    Finally, go ahead and go to settings > accounts > remove account from xbox, and remove your account from the xbox. Then simply go ahead and sign back in again. While it is not exactly like the xbox 360 and recovering accounts, the principal is still the
    same.

    Also, head over to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ and make sure the transaction posted. You can also check out https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hub/4294457/microsoft-account-help#payment-options-orders for
    more information and troubleshooting.

    I think the problem might be my card because i have no money on it but it is backing up my NBA 2k20 Pre order so i can’t remove it but i don’t know why that would affect the purchases with the money on my xbox. Does it have to be backing up the pre order
    because i bought it with the money on the xbox not my card?

    Have you tried purchasing through the Xbox.com website instead? It could just be a glitch on the console.
