can't play forza horizon 4 online

you can't join online play in forza horizon 4 until you have completed the first 4 seasons and got on the roster and reached level 20

Forza Horizon 4 is one of my most anticipated games of 2018 can't wait to play

Was the error code showing up on the game before you hit the START button? Was the message written like this: Failed to check for updates. Error code: 0x80070422. Please try again later.?

If so, I am experiencing the same issue. I was playing last Friday, the next day I could not do any of the online portion of the game. The rest of the game still plays fine. Just the playing online is not functioning.

I have tried a 100 different things like settings, network, commands, reinstalling the game, and even tried PC recovery. Everything else works perfectly. The problem is with Microsoft and FH4.

I have a brand new Alienware 17R4 and it is blinding fast and amazing. My internet connection downloads the game at better than 75MB/s speed.

There is no reason this should not work. I tried to see if there was an update but the game says it is up to date since I removed it and reinstalled.

Servers or summit was down for downloaded games.
