    So I have reached out to support via Xbox chat and called Xbox support twice, but have not gained any headway or heard back. I decided to try posting here in hopes I could get help with an issue regarding accessing cloud save data when playing old games.

    I am trying to play the original plans for zombies, but I want to start over from the beginning of the game. I followed all the troubleshooting steps given by support staff with no remedy.

    There is no option to delete save data completely like there should be in the “manage game data” menu. They told me it was due to me being enrolled in the insider program, and that they would “forward the information on” and someone would get back to me (this was over a month ago).

    I have tried deleting the game, reinstalling it, completely removing my account from the cloud 360, generating a new app password through my Microsoft account, but nothing works. Every single time I start the game, it immediately syncs with the cloud storage and I am stuck where I left off. I’m trying to restart from the beginning to play split screen with somebody. There is no end game option to start your progress over in this particular game either. I find it extremely troubling that there is no way to actually access your own cloud saved data for 360 games.

    Needless to say it is extremely annoying, and unless I literally want to play through the entire game just so I can restart it to play split screen with somebody else, I’m pretty much screwed. No one has been able to offer any help to actually rectify the situation and I do not see it on any “known issues list “.

    This is pretty much my only other avenue to try and get assistance so I appreciate your time reading this and hopefully we can resolve this so other players do not run into the same thing.

    Any games you have that are backwards compatible would be redownloaded through your Games and Apps on the Series X. You would need to store your game saves on the cloud.

    Hello War,

    On the 360 you would want to enable
    cloud save
    once you do that you can move all the save games to the cloud. Once moved to the cloud, when you play the backward compatible games on Xbox one it should get the save data.
