    Recently my Xbox One X has run into a plethora of issues that I can't help but think are connected somehow and I need some advice on what to do next. When trying to download updates for games, quite often my Xbox will forcefully cancel the download with
    the "installation stopped" message. Over and over and over again. Sometimes it is completely impossible to even start a download, and it will be canceled before it even starts up. This makes downloading any update almost impossible, and in response I have
    tried every online recommendation imaginable. From clearing the cache to doing a hard reset. Nothing works. Which leads into the second part of this issue. The startup errors.

    I have gotten TONS of E series errors on startup. Most of the time it turns out to be a E105, but I have gotten a few E100s and the odd E200 as well. It got so bad at one point that every startup ended with an error, and the Xbox was unusable. Completely
    unusable. I was forced to do a full factory reset to hopefully clear away any issues, but to no avail. The startup errors aren't as often, but they are slowly getting more and more frequent and I am fearful that I have to completely format the whole thing
    again. I am sick and tired of doing this, and would like some advice. Xbox support has been completely unhelpful, just pointing me back to the same "solutions" I have tried over and over again. As a final resort I would take the system in to get replaced as
    it is under warranty, but I want to cover all my bases before that. If anyone has any advice or solutions to this, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Ok, try this: go to your xbox settings and do a shutdown. Once the xbox is off unplug the xbox from the wall, and unplug the power cord from the back of the xbox. Leave it unplugged. Next, reset your router / modem. Once it's done cycling plug the power
    cord back to the xbox, then plug it in to the wall (don't use a surge protector), fire up the xbox and give it a go.

    Sorry to hear you are experiencing these issues.

    I had similar issues with my 1X unfortunately if you have tried the factory resets and full power down and move power cord from the surge protector your next best option is to lodge a repair request as in the last reply.

    My experience with the repair process in Australia was quick and easy.

    I’ve started to get issues with downloads freezing, saves not syncing, games not loading and when power cycling the console startup errors.

    EA,s updated rosters

    The other game required you to manually load up the roster of your choice but I think if you also just delete your "default roster" or save your custom roster fro mthe download as the new default this may also make it constant the one to load at startup.
