    Yes, I've already reported via Xbox.

    This has been going on for several updates now. I go to manage appa and game and it displays "Updates 1", I click and there are no updates. When I back out once it still says 1 update.

    If I back out all the way it clears like I have no updates but when the system does another "scan" it will appear again.

    Xbox One Summer Update - after updating the game streaming to PC keeps disconnecting

    I used to have the "Lost Connection" issue, but I haven't had it for a while. Now every 15-20 minutes my games get very laggy. I have tried both the normal Xbox App and the Xbox App Beta; they both are up to date. The lag seems to only affect the games,
    and not the dashboard. When the lag starts I hit the guide button, and the dashboard works fine; if I go back to the game it will still be laggy. I have tried resetting my modem and router, holding the power button on Xbox, and clearing the blu-ray persistent
    storage. The Xbox console is also up to date. The only thing I don't have up to date is Windows 10; I don't have the Anniversary Update yet. My computer keeps downloading that update, but it keeps failing to install it. I also am using a wireless connection.

    Since you've already unplugged the console for a small time (clears cache), I would first recommend looking for system updates and then finally, if nothing else helps, a factory reset keeping games and apps may fix this problem:

    Settings > System > Console Info & Updates > Reset console > "keep games and apps". (requires account redownload)

    If you're in the Xbox Insiders/Preview program please report the bug by holding the xbox button on your controller and go to "feedback" and report the bug, please. That could be a cause for this glitch, if you're on a preview dashboard.

    If you don't wish to have preview dashboards anymore, (if you do have them), you can unenroll in the Insiders app.

    Hi guys.

    First of all, I'm sorry to say this, but these Xbox Support Twitter people are worth NOTHING. I had a lot of discussions with them and they absolutely have no clue. We could do a better support...

    They told me the same. Only automatic dashboard updates. No game or app updates.

    But I can say, the X1 does this 100%! I talked to a support guy on the phone and he suggested to reset the console to factory defaults. I did this, but shortly after that I got the beta dashboard update. Now it's working for me again, but I can't tell if
    it's done by the reset or the update.

    Also there are no more notifications, that there has been an update like the "Ready to start" messages.

    But I can tell, that Peggle and the Twitch app, for example, were updated in background. This was obvious because of new functions.

    So what have we learned? Don't spend any time talking to the Twitter guys and if you still have the problem after the dashboard update, try a reset to factory defaults. :)

    But the question remains: it's a problem with the console, with the updates, with xbox live or what? Do I have to hard reset the console? To format and reinstall everything?
    This seems to be a problem with the update. If the last update status says 1/1/1601 1:00AM that could mean you have a bad system update or your time is not set correctly - which it shouldn't be since time is synchronized with Xbox servers.

    If the problem persists, can you get into settings on your console please do this to reformat keeping games and apps since you seem to have a bad update that didn't finish or apply properly:

    Settings > System > Console Info & Updates > Reset console > "keep games and apps". (requires account redownload)

    Did your 360 update properly? That is to say, when you launched the game, did you get a pop-up that stated "Update Required" ?

    From the sounds of it, the update on the disc did not apply. Go to System Settings, Console Settings, highlight Sytem Info (but don't click on it). On the right side it should say what Dashboard you have. If it's not 2.0.13599.0, it's out of date.

    I have a console that still has a dashboard of 2.0.9199.0. When I pop the Gears of War 3 disc into the console, the tile on the dashboard shows Gears of War 3, but when I try to play it I get the Update Required pop-up. If I cancel, I go back to the dashboard.

    If your console didn't update to 2.0.13599.0, try
    updating the console via USB
    . I keep the latest system update on a USB flash drive for this purpose.
