Xbox supports Hdr10, as the poster above describes That is the only one they mention they support.

If your TV had not implemented this correctly, then this is an issue with your TV manufacturer and lying about what they support and not the xbox.

You should still be able to enjoy 4k just without the hdr.

    :)

I would like to know how to do A triple screen set up for the Xbox one to share one picture across 3 different TV screens like they did at e3 for the racing game

hdr10 is an open standard and the only HDR standard used for games, the default hdr standard for video content, this is what Xbox uses. Their are other niche hdr formats but nothing that competes with hdr10 as the basic standard.

hdr10 is the most common format supported by TV's, if a TV doesn't work then it requires manual configuration to enable whats often referred to as UHD Color of which there is nothing Xbox can do to change as it's a TV side setting.

If hdr still doesn't work then the TV maker has not done any device testing to ensure compatibility and I would avoid such a brand.

Xbox requires a display with 10-bit panel to display HDR, you will not get it without that. If there is no 10-bit panel then 8-bit output is limited to 4k SDR output.

Fake HDR via 8-bit is not supported, 12-bit is for Dolby Vision they are only ones who use it and if you have a DV display it should support 10-bit to begin with.

  5. My issue was that. Xbox says they support everything basically and only problems caused are by the TV in which is an elements uhd4k with 8-10-36 bit even.. So my xbox says it will support certain formats whilst games cannot project in 4k or hdr10 whilst
my tv does support it.. i know my tv is not Sony or Samsung lol but again the problem is the lie xbox portrays whilst saying they support each and every format.. not the fact my tv is cheaper brand. F.Y.I Elements TV's are Amazing and well worth the price.
