Forza Motorsport 4, Disc 2 Won't Install

There really is no other procedure for when the player doesn't recognize the CD in question, Emporroll. So I believe that the best advice is to test this CD on another console to check if it is something from the CD itself.

Because the only reasons for not performing the reading of 1 specific CD, really is a physical error.

There's nothing wrong with the disc, nor my disc drive on my Xbox 360, every other game works fine, and the disc literally looks brand new. I already cleared the cache beforehand several times when I tried troubleshooting earlier, did nothing. I don't know where you looked, but other people are indeed having this same issue.

This is an old game, Disc rot, aka oxydation isn’t visible to the naked eye except in extreme cases. You need a microscope.

That would be the most likely culprit, assuming the disc doesn’t work in other 360.

This error from what I researched is not from the game version, nor a chronic problem of the game in the physical format.

From your report, it sounds like a CD problem.

But let's try some processes.

Please follow this procedure!

1- Press the Panel button on your controller, go to Settings and select System Settings.

Select Storage.

Highlight, but do not select, a storage device and press Y on the controller to access Device Options.

On the Device Options screen, select Clear System Cache.

When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Afterwards, use a cell phone that has a mobile network to use the hotspot, and then connect the console to that cell's wifi network and try again to download the 2 CD.

If it still doesn't work, it's really something from the CD. Even imperceptible, CD reading may be impaired.
