    Game Bar recordings disappeared


    Hi

    I recently recorded a couple of short desktop instances (windows 10). files were recorded, available in captures in game bar, and i watched them back.

    however two days later they're not there. there is nothing in the recycle bin (literally nothing).

    checking in file explorer, there is nothing in the captures folder.

    i've just taken a screenshot, and that is present in both,

    is there a search i can do for .extension in windows to try to track the files down?

    Hello Billwardqnonsense, sometimes there may have been some problem at the time of creating the temporary files of the media files, if you have already checked the folders and settings of the Game Bar, probably these files unfortunately got lost.

    Check your system with the latest updates.

    Also make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have

    I think you have to update the software on the microsoft store of your pc, it should not be a problem
