    Game Installation failing on Xbox one when using my home (local) connection.


    Hello.

    I have been encountering a very displeasing problem as of recently. the problem has occurred many times before and now and I've tried all steps to solve it but nothing helps. xbox is updated and no problems with the console.

    problem: game says installation stopped and keeps stopping at a certain percentage. however when switching to my 3g using carrier data the game continues to download normally. switching back to my home connection the same problems happens again after a short
    while.

    steps that were taken to try and fix the problem:

    1-canceling and re-installing

    2-hard restarting the xbox by holding and unplugging.

    3-factory resetting the Xbox

    4-direct connection of the xbox to the modem

    5-clearing persistent storage

    6-clearing and removing local save data and account

    7-clearing mac address

    8- general troubleshooting steps.

    Game for reference: Phantasy star online 2. although it happened with most games I've downloaded in the past

    is the problem related with my isp? if yes then how would I fix it since my isp lacks knowledge in gaming consoles.

    this problem alone made me seriously consider switching consoles which is very extreme for me considering I'm an extreme Microsoft user.

    xbox gold aint doin so good

    I am on adult default. trying the xbox website when i click on the purchase game button it just sends me back to the xbox website home page. useing the app trys to connect to my xbox but it fails to connect.

    What i find strange is the app failed to run even though it was locally installed on the X1, i guess it was phoning home then went pear shaped when it didn't get its intended response?

    Okay thanks. Well on the xbox when i try the test it can connect to the network no problem. But it fails from Network --> Internet. When im on my laptop (vista). On the network and sharing centre I have two local area networks. One for my internet connection
    and the other for the connection to my xbox. And when i try to do the ICS i enable the two options on the internet connection but i get another option which is something about selecting a Private Home network which wasn't in your video which could have something
    to do with it?

    Are your devices on the same local network when you initially try to set it? And is the console set as your Home Console? I'm not certain if Home Console designation factors in, but I remember not having an issue when they were connected on the
    same local network.
    Yes both are on the same network, don't recall right now if my Xbox is on WiFi or LAN, but Android is on WiFi. Home console is set to this one.

    Tried again this morning. It said failed to connect going to home screen. Party sharing was working find. Just connecting to a world failed. Saw the world to connect to but failed when trying to connect to it. Said going to home screen.
