    Hitron: Hitron CODA-4582 IPv6

    Hitron (Modems/Gateways): Hitron CODA-4582 IPv6
I'm looking to setup my Xbox One S, on IPv4 and IPv6, over wan. So far all my IPv6 devices connect over Wired/Wireless to IPv6 with no issues, just the xbox. My provider is Rogers and from what I can see is good to go for IPv6. On test-ipv6.com I get 10/10.

When I try and redo my wireless setup I only get access to IPv4, and not 6. Does the Xbox only do IPv6 over Wire? If they can do it Wireless can someone help me in setting it up since i'm not seeing any options.

    IPv6

    I have the same issue.

I am connected in IPv4 but my ISP has IPv6. MY set up - I have my xbox plugged directly into my modem a Hitron CGN 3.0. I have checked my Modems settings and there is no setting to turn IPv6 off or on. AM I missing something?

Hitron: Looking for posts for setting up iPv6 on my network

ONEGREATFIRE, are we to assume that you don't actually know how to assist anyone in setting up IPv6? Because here, as in the post you mentioned, you presuppose the posters are simply trying to do something their providers do not offer. It just doesn't
seem like a very helpful way to reply to someone's forum post specifically requesting certain information--to tell them that they do not need it.

Further, you might notice that the poster immediately preceding DJGracie in the "Hitron" forum had essentially the very same request--yet you did not inform that user that they were mistaken to even attempt this because "most providers" do not support IPv6.
I have a Hitron CGNVM, and am struggling to find information from any source regarding how to configure IPv6, despite the manufacturer's website stating that it does indeed have the capability.

If you do know how to set this up, I would greatly appreciate you taking the time to share that with us.

The reason for my critical tone is that by requiring a poster to provide you with further information before sharing your knowledge, you undermine the value that forums have--not just to the OP--but to others seeking to resolve a similar problem.
There has to be a verification from the OP, if their ISP support IPv6, and from there, we're able to assist. There's no difference in the setup between IPv4 and IPv6.

That is as long as you use DHCP for IPv6 and not SLAAC.

what is the model number of the hitron modem ? most hitrons are also routers (gateways) and that might be the problem....

    Changing NAT type

The Hitron is the primary router. My cable is connected to it for fast download speeds.

    Arris

    -Hitron

-- Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360 (All share one cable.)

    -- Cisco

The other cables are connected to Cisco.
