    I am having Wi-Fi issues with the Xbox One S


    Ok so recently xbox was having Xbox service issues. And I tried disconnecting and reconnecting from my wife during that period. Now I can’t connect to my wifi at all ever since. The password is correct and I’ve typed it out properly, it’s not an issue with the router bc everyone else in my family can connect to the Wi-Fi on their Xbox, I’ve tried and Ethernet chord and it still didn’t work, and my Xbox isn’t too far away because the router is like 10 feet away from my Xbox. Any ideas on what to do?

    Slow network bug (Xbox One S Instant On)

    Funny, right when the issue for you was fixed. People with One S including myself having been having issues with wi-fi not functioning properly. Switched out the console and still perists. Have to do hardboots for the wi-fi to be working properly.

    Didn't realize the Xbox One had Wi-Fi issues? I've never had a problem gaming or streaming on my Xbox One over Wi-Fi and as far as I know, none of my friends have either.

    Just a thought, and I cant say for sure its the problem, but it could be the wi-fi receiver in your xbox. I have two S consoles and the newest of the two seems to have issues with wi-fi but works fine on a hardline. If hardlining doesn't fix your issue you
    may need to have it repaired. Hope you get it resolved!

    What Xbox 360 are you talking about?

    As using the console in a vertical position is your own choice, I always have mine horizontal.

    The original 360 did not have built in Wi-Fi but a plug in Wi-Fi adapter is available. Whereas the later S and E models had built in Wi-Fi.
