    I've just checked, Sea of Thieves Anniversary edition is still on game pass. upon clicking on it tells me I'm able to play it. clicking the play button I was then lead to the message from before. I think the best option is too wait for this whole thing
    to blow over, I think this game pass pc thing is fairly new so I'm gonna give it a month or two more.

    Sadly it didn't work for me, but I'm pretty sure this game pass pc thing is new. You could only expect bugs and I hope xbox is working to fix this. hopefully it doesn't take too long to fix this.

    Well I did actually have a windows update, after restarting I opened it up and it lead me to the same message. I guess I'm just gonna have to wait.
    That's certainly what it sounds like, I was hoping that the Windows Update would solve it, that's what happened with me and Astroneer about 18 months ago. It wouldn't let me load the game at all until I did the Windows Update. Gears of War wouldn't let me
    load until I had the latest graphics card drivers.

    Signing out and back in didn't work, neither did a Windows Update, perhaps seeing if your graphics card drivers are up to date might help?
