    1) games freeze, hangs or closes

    2) dashboard slow/stutter movement

    3) signing in difficulties

    4) slow/freeze transfer from internal to external drive (I own an official Seagate 2T (usb)

    5) my external drive keeps telling me "external ready" to use

    6) when installing games to internal Hd it sometimes stops n' starts

    7) keep getting errors (0x8027025a)

    8) errors for preview hub, error reporting

    9) "need to install" when it already is

    before all the sarcasm comments come :-

    iv reinstalled account, console factory reset, reformatted my 2T usb Seagate drive and tried using alternative direct ports.

    Hi W3L5H R4R3 81T,

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue with your console. As our Ambassadors have previously stated, if your console was in an preview build then traditional troubleshooting will not work to get your console back up and running.
    I would recommend reaching out on the
    Xbox Insider subreddit
    to see if they're able to offer more direct assistance.



    You can also report this problem using the Xbox Insider Hub app so we can investigate it further:



    1. On your console, install the Xbox
      Insider Hub
      app (if you don’t already have it).
    2. Hold down the Xboxbutton on the controller.
    3. On the power menu, select Report a problem.
    4. Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

    Additionally, if you've already removed yourself from the Preview Program, it is recommended that you restore your console to its defaults by

    fully factory resetting your console
    (be sure to know the log in credentials for your profile & disengage any external HD prior to doing this step) then updating the console to the newest public build to get it working correctly again. A full factory reset
    will remove everything (games, profiles, etc.), including any potentially corrupting files on the OS.

    Should this fail, this then may indicate that your console requires a
    repair which you can set up yourself online
    , or
    by phone or chat with Xbox Support
    .

    Give the full reset a try and let us know the results.

    Did you go via Microsoft Support or Xbox Support? Microsoft Support can sometimes give the wrong advice. They are not as expert on the Xbox brand as Xbox support.

    There are many factors that could be causing this issue. Have you reset your router? also is it a wired or WiFi connection?

    options" and request a callback.

    Being honest, you would be better reaching out to the development team via https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders as they can give you the best support for the Xbox Insider
    Preview program.

    I did remove myself from ALPHA preview but to no availe… I spoke to TECH xbox service and was told 249usd +repair, and said "we encourage customers to buy a new one rather than repair... not happy

    Yes, I already read that, I just want to ask if do you still have an access on your console, I mean do you still play games on it?

    3 times iv played... yet sometimes it tells me i need to install when its already installed

    just because i have played games on this console... doesn't mean to say everything is good

    im really annoyed n' frustrated that im paying for a monthly servive that is bein wasted

    I see, okay since you have been tried everything, I can see here that the only thing that we can do is to send your console for a repair.

    Yes, that is one of the advisable for the customer, instead of sending for repair we encourage them to buy for the new one ;)

    But I have an other option, if you want you can send it also to some repair shop that is nearer on your place for you to be able to get the lesser price for the repair.

    i think its time i dumped xbox subscription and continue with

    Are you in preview? If yes the link posted above is the best option. But complain about it, you have no reason to do it because when you register for system preview is saying and warning, is a system testing and the console may not work well or experience
    several issues.
