Issues with my Profile and hard drive memory.

Okay so I have an Xbox 360 slim and of the 250 gig hard drive I have only 43.6 gigs are left. So last night a couple of hours before I went to sleep I was playing Red Dead Redemption. The game freezes so I turn off the Xbox for a few hours. Then I decide
to watch a DVD on it before going to sleep. I turn it on and everything is fine. I watch a little of the DVD for about a half hour, get tired, turn it off, go to sleep.

Fast forward to today about an hour ago. I turn on my xbox 360 to play a game. It goes to the dashboard screen but my background isn't there and my profile hasn't autosigned in. I turn off my system and start it back up and the same thing happens. I then
look and there are no profiles on my xbox. Normally there are 4. So I redownload the profile. After I redownload it my background still isn't there. I check my downloaded games and it says there's nothing there. So I go to my system settings and into my memory.
Of the 250 gig hard drive I have only 43.6 gigs are left which is no different from usual. However I look into the memory and it is almost completely blank. Only save data of original xbox games show up. All of my other stuff is nowhere to be found. No downloaded
games, no dlc, no apps, no profiles, nothing. Again though the gig space all of those things used is still taken up on my hard drive but the xbox doesn't recognize it. Is my hard drive corrupt or is this apart of the current xbox line profile issues? If anyone
could help it would be much appreciated.

Delete your profile from your hard drive or memory unit with Settings | System | Storage | All Devices | Profiles

Clear the system cache three times - back up with red (B) button until you get to Storage, hover over a hard drive or memory unit and press the yellow (Y) button

Power down for at least eight secs

Power up and redownload your profile

    Recovering My Gamertag

    Try also,

If you dont want to us a USB.

    Clear the system cache.

System settings > memory > device options > clear system cache.

You could also try deleteing the profile only from your hard drive under gamer profiles in memory.

After that the console would be clear of your profile and you shouldnt have any issues with recovering your account.

    hope this helps.

    Hi there,

please try removing and reinstalling the hard drive, to see if this helps anything. See this link for the how to:

    support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive

Games that disappear is not something that can be caused by that error code, so it could be your hard drive.

    Xbox live no go

This could indicate an issue with your hard drive. Can you remove your hard drive and use a usb memory stick instead.

Download your profile to the memory stick and test if you can connect to live and maintain the connection with just the memory stick.

    Post back the results.

If the connection is fine without the hard drive then when you reconnect the hard drive delete your profile from the hard drive memory. Also check all your folders and if you see a file with an exclamation mark delete it. This indicates an incomplete or
corrupted file. if you are still having an issue then try formatting the hard drive.

Otherwise if you experience the same issue with the usb stick then try adding your ip address to the dmz on your router. This will allow it to bypass your firewall.

    Cant recover my gamertag

Hi there! This does sound like a hard drive issue. If you've tried re-seating the hard drive with no success, can you try recovering your profile to a USB Flash Drive formatted as a Xbox memory device? If that works, then the hard drive would need to be
    replaced.

    Status Code "4497 - 0000 - 3080 - 0300 - D000 - 0185" when connect to xbox live (xbox360 console)

    1. Delete the profile

    2. Clear Cache

    3. Re-download the profile

But fail and ask to check network connectivity again. :(

Let's fallback to the troubleshooting guide - Solution #4.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    • If you’re using an Xbox 360 Memory Unit or a USB flash drive instead of a hard drive, remove and reinsert the memory unit or flash drive.
    • If you have an Xbox 360 Hard Drive, try
removing and adding the hard drive again
      .

After replacing the storage device, try the update again.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My xbox 360 memory size is 3G.

The question is "where is the memory unit?"

Xbox lost my gamertag, can't download profile. error code 80151103

YOU GUYS NEED TO GO TO SETTINGS - SYSTEM - STORAGE/MEMORY - SELECT HARD DRIVE / MEMORY UNIT AND CLEAR SYSTEM CACHE - THEN GO BACK IN TO HARD DRIVE DELETE GAMER PROFILES

    THAT WILL FIX IT
