I've lost 50+ hours on Elden Ring

DiogoAmbrosio, That depends on whether the console has already synchronized the deleted game to the cloud.

Try to go to a different console if possible (e.g. visiting a friend or neighbour with an Xbox One), and sign in with your account. If the game downloads your save game intact, you can recover it.

If the console hasn't deleted the game from the cloud yet, you can go to My Games and Apps, move to the game tile, and press the Menu button.

Choose to manage the game, and there delete the local save game copy.

If you then start the game, it'll download the save state from the cloud, similar to when you visited your friend/neighbour.

If the save game however is gone in the cloud as well, then there is currently no way to get it back again.

I tried doing everything you explained, I deleted the local save file, and when I entered the game it sync'd and is showing me the old save that I don't want.

I've been playing this game daily, if I had lost a coulpe hours or a day it would be understandable. But my save game for no reason reverted to a point that I was probably one or two weeks ago, I don't understand how that could've happened.

It's very hard to understand how there is no save version control on the cloud. If I could revert my saved data to yesterday morning or the day before, ok. But losing 50, potentially 60 hours is very, very frustrating and very disappointing.

The one with 50+ gameplay?

Oh man :/ that's odd.

When you try to go into the game, there's no load option? Maybe your save is in there for you to load it manually in the load option, maybe.

Thank you for the detailed guide about how to restore the console.

I did all the steps you mentioned, logged into the fresh system, opened the game. I still have the same save as I saw earlier, about 56 hours instead of my 100+ one.

What can I do now?
