  1. Media Player DLNA folder art work

What is required for the xbox one to display folder art (typically a .jpg) when browsing folders via DLNA. I can see a couple of my images display correctly and *I think* it is picking up a file named folder.jpg. However if I create a folder.jpg in one of
the folders that does not display it is not picked up the xbox one.

    :)

How to stream video from PC to XBox One X ?

Xbox does not support reading network shares, which is kinda odd considering it runs Windows and it should be able to join Homegroups created by Windows when you think about it.

    So your options are

    1) Get VLC from Xbox app store, it can read SMB network shared folder under "browse" category.

    2) Install a DLNA media server on your PC like Serviio or Mezzmo and use that to stream to Xbox stock media player which supports DLNA.

    3) Install a media server like Plex or Emby and use there clients available in the Xbox app store, to play the media that way, Plex/Emby do also double as DLNA servers too but their app clients are a better way to access the media.

DLNA Support with Lumia's from Media Player App?

With the new October Update I tried to get DLNA to work with my Lumia. Does it work with screen mirroring? The Lumia "Play To" app works perfect but DLNA does not show up on the Media Player Preview App. Any idea?

Media Player Not showing MKV files.

What media server are you using to stream to the XBox One? I have tried Plex, XBMC, TVersity, TWonky and even Windows Media Player and the xbox one sees the servers and folders but says they are empty. Just wondering if' I'm not using a supported DLNA server.
    HELP Please.

    Media Player

    Setup a dlna

    To do that

    open Windows media player

    Click stream

    click more streaming options

allow your pc. click ok at the bottom

Make sure now your media are in the right folders that are shown once you start up your x1 media server app.

Your x1 should now detect your pc

    Media Center

Xbox One will be supporting DLNA on it's media player app with the upcoming October dashboard update, so this should be possible without problems.

It's already possible to stream media towards the One with the windows media player, but with the next update the One will be able to browse for DLNA servers within the network it's connected to.

    Background music

I cant get background music to work. Wireless display preview app lags, media player doesn't recognize hard drives, and dlna stop working.
