    Microsoft not recognizing my Xbox Live subscription


    It's not just my Xbox One, the website itself doesn't recognize that my 12-month gold subscription was renewed on Sunday, February 22nd, 2015. I have the confirmation email and everything and recently Microsoft in any way, shape or form won't recognize
    this. I've tried everything from disconnecting my console to hard rebooting it and even deleting the profile and redownloading it. I'm becoming somewhat frustrated seeing as I was charged for this, received the confirmation email and a month later everything
    shuts down. I had been receiving emails afterwards saying that I should change my billing information to avoid losing gold status but I had already paid for it. Bank statements proved this along with the confirmation email. Would I have been charged again
    if I switched payment info? I'm hoping this is some programming error and not Microsoft trying to screw my wallet.

    Xbox Live not recognizing my Gold subscription

    Xbox live does not recognize my gold subscription anymore, when I check my profile status it says I am a silver user even though I have an active subscription until april 2017. This only happens on my xbox 360 games, everything works fine on xbox one. I
    can't play 360 online games and get 360 games with gold. I've already tried to redownload my profile info but nothing changed. How do I fix this?

    Help with account subcription

    I am the parent on an account for my son, his live subscription just recently ran out so I renewed it on the site here. I thought since I am the parent on the account the subscription would carry over to my sons account/system, but his Xbox is

    After reviewing your account, your Gold subscription for the last three months was a promotional, discounted subscription. As mentioned in the FAQ, promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards:

    Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership, we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member.
