    Hello, I am having a problem with minecraft windows 10

    I bought it and have the installer, but whenever I use it it sends me to the minecraft launcher, where there is an "install" button.

    So far everything normal but when i click on "install" then the button changes to "play" but i can't click it and it is a darker green than the "installing" button was, which i assume means there is a problem.

    Also when i close the launcher and open it again it says i can install the game.

    I did it several times and noticed that each time, it took around 1gb from my computer storage, so it did install the game even though i can't play it or find it in my File Explorer.

    After deleting download files i tried again and the button said "waiting on download" and there was a download bar at the bottom saying "error"

    Anyone having the same issue? If anyone knows what to do please tell me.

    Hi Jonathan

    Minecraft game is not Play Anywhere. The Xbox version won't work on your PC, because there is another version for that, called Minecraft
    for Windows 10    .

    The update is to Minecraft Windows 10 edition that also works on Xbox, as the Minecraft you have is no longer supported, it still works as I still play it at times. But yes, the update message is for you to get the Windows 10 version that works on both
    PC and Xbox, so you can save a game on Xbox and boot it up on PC and carry on.
