Minecraft world failed to sync data

So recently Xbox was experiencing an issue of not being able to play downloaded games. I, along with many others, experienced this issue. An error code written “0x97e107ef” and/or sometimes “df” instead of “ef” at the end would pop up if i tried to enter
a game. When checking the error help site the codes seemed to be non existent. So me, being bored, I would click my game multiple times but it wouldn’t work (obviously). Something to note is that i tried this on other games as well. So, feeling defeated, i
left my xbox to do other things. When i came back to it, my xbox had actually signed me out ( i left mixer playing on my screen) and then apparently there was an xbox live issue. As this has happened before, i tried to reset my xbox in multiple ways. This,
however, didn’t work. Flash forward a few hours, I can sign in! Sadly, i still couldn’t get into minecraft. So i checked fortnite and i actually got in! But being confused as to why fortnite worked, i went back to minecraft and it worked! However, i noticed
it was working slower than normal. Then, I exit out and try to enter minecraft. The error code pops up, I enter fortnite (it works), i enter minecraft (it works). Although i was confused, i was just glad i could finally play. Sadly, when i clicked my world
    a text popped up:

    Failed to sync world data

the world is not fully synced or has been corrupted. Try playing the world on a console where it’s in a good state and try migrating it again.

Does anybody know what to do?

i’ve tried resetting my console various ways, factory reset, uninstalling the game and reinstalling, but nothing works. I’ve played on it for a few months and hope to recover it.

    :)

Minecraft failed to sync world data

    Hi there,

Unfortunately that world may not have saved properly prior to the reset and is essentially lost since the data on the cloud seems to be corrupted.

The best thing to try now is ask a Mojang representative what they suggest to do with corrupted or lost worlds after trying all of the troubleshooting steps made available.

Minecraft failed to sync world data

    Hello there,

We understand that you have upon resetting the console experienced saved data missing, specifically this one world, for Minecraft on your Xbox One device.

There is way to recuperate saved data, and this involves the Xbox One cloud saves:

To use cloud storage for your saved games, you need:

    • An Xbox Live Gold subscription
    • A console connected to the Xbox Live service
    • 514 megabytes (MB) of storage space on your console (local cache)

In order to get to these cloud saves, you would need to go into your settings, find
system and then storage. Within storage, select clear local saved games to effectively use the cloud saves instead of data on the console that may be corrupt.

Try this and let us know if this works.

    Best wishes!

Failed To Sync World Data - Minecraft

    Hey Frosty_T_Snowman

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

, This will not negatively impact any of you other games. A MAC address is the physical address of the console and can be added to your list of trusted devices on your router user interface, to make sure
its one of the only devices that can connect to the network using that router.

The Xbox One console has the ability to use an alternate MAC address for connecting to a network, by using the MAC of a device that is already on the network. This spoofs your console so you network believes that its a phone or other device that is already
    connected to the network.

In this instance, if you are not using an alternate MAC address, It just simply restarts the network hardware on your console.

I do believe that this is a network connectivity issue. If this does not work for you, I'd like to see if you can try connecting to a different network, or perhaps using a hotspot momentarily to just sync your worlds and then connecting to your home network
    once more.

Give this a go and let us know your results!
