    My gamertag/Xbox account is over a year old now and not once have I ever received any receipts in my email for any of my purchases. Found out recently that they've all been going to the iCloud address of a friend. He made my account for me because he got
    tired of me always playing as a guest on his Xbox (used to live together + play splitscreen on his Xbox), but his email address is in no way connected to my gamertag. I've looked at every page I can think of, and yep, the only email I see is mine, which is
    set as my primary. His is nowhere in sight. All I can think of is that perhaps he had at one point set his address as one of the recovery options in my account, and I probably removed it (although I don't remember doing so), but even that doesn't make sense.
    Anyone know what might be going on here, and if so, is there any solution?

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums today. I'm sorry to hear about the current trouble trying to change the email where you receive your purchase confirmation emails. Usually, once you
    change the primary email address
    on the Microsoft account and verify it; that would be the main email on your account that will be receiving the account notifications such as purchase confirmation emails, or pre-orders etc. Now, I do understand you mention
    to see only your email within your account, do you recall how long ago you updated the account with your email? Also, did you add an existing email or did you make a new one?

    Updating, your security information is helpful to avoid being locked out of your account if you every forget your password.
    Security information consists of an email address and/or phone number that you provide to us, which we use to verify your identity. This doesn't mean that the email you add would be the one receiving your notifications.

    If you wish to add new security information to your Microsoft account, follow these steps:

    1. Sign in using your Microsoft account email address and password.
    2. Scroll down to Security and select Update.
    3. Under Update your security info, select Update info.
    4. Select Add security info. Note You may be asked to verify that you are the account owner by receiving a security code via text or email and then entering it online.
    5. Select Add a new email address or Add a new phone number, and then follow the directions provided to add and verify your new security information.

    I never changed the primary email address. My current primary is the only primary email address my account has ever had. That's the weird part about all of this.

    Not yet. I'll probably end up contacting support, but I think I'll use that link and just end up removing my current primary and adding + verifying a new one. Hopefully that works, because I'm at a loss here.

    As previously stated by fellow XBF Leslie D, once youchange the primary email address
