NAT error even when plugged directly into modem.

So your PC works connected to the Netgear now but your Xbox cannot see your Wifi is that right? There's no real reason for that to have changed really, ensure your wireless is broadcasting and its using a unique network name (SSID) and that you security
is set to WPA2-PSK(AES) that is the best security on that router

So Frustrated with Xbox live and Apple-Help..cant connect

    Hey nyan dude!

Is your airport extreme router using WEP security? The Xbox 360 has occasionally been unable to obtain an IP address when the router uses WEP security. If you're able, try using WPA2 instead.

In case it's helpful, here's what the thread on that router says about changing the security type:

Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

    1. Open the AirPort Admin Utility. (It is installed in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a Macintosh computer, and in Start > All Programs > AirPort on computers using Windows.)
    2. Click on your base station.
    3. Enter the admin password you created when the device was initially setup.
    4. Click the edit button on the resulting pop up.
    5. Select Wireless from the tabs at the top.
    6. Select the desired Security Type from the Wireless Security drop down. Select None for no Wireless Security.
    7. Click the Update button in the lower right.
    Hope that helps!
