No Party Chat option on Party Menu

I just started playing the Xbox One again and noticed now when I create a party I no longer have an option to enable party chat. I had no issues when I first got the One. Some friends I play with also do not have that option. We can create parties and
I can hear others in when when playing a game but just do not have an option to start Party Chat. Any suggestions?

    :)

Why can i hear gamechat while I'm in a party?

Go to Party in Guide Menu (Center Button on Controller) & set your Party Options to Party Chat & not Game Chat etc..

    Fixes/Changes to Xbox One

So, I found the setting on Xbox One to only allow invited people to your party. When you are in the Party Chat menu you have to hit the Menu button on the controller, then you have to option to require invites to join your party. Again, why is this not
just part of the options in the Party Chat menu?

  4. No Party Chat option on Party Menu

What are you talking about? Once you start a party, you're automatically IN party chat. There is no option to select it unless you're in game-chat (in which case, you simply select your name in the party menu to switch back to party chat and vice-versa).

Ahhhhh....When my friend invited me I was hearing everyone in the game, he was only hearing me. Then it was the same for me when I started the party. thought there was an issue and when I looked at some videos online they kept showing option for party
    chat in the menu.

I did not realize that If I was invited to the party I had to click my name and change to party chat.

  6. Well, at least now you know where it is. Still, regardless of whether you started the party, joined the party, or were invited to one, you should ALWAYS be in party chat the moment you're in the party.

More than likely, there was a glitch or bug that was causing the issues you describe - as much as I hate to say it, it's not uncommon. The good news, however, is that oftentimes, it's easily fixed by switching to game chat and back again. If that doesn't
work, then leaving and rejoining the party almost always does. It can get annoying to have to do, to be sure, but it's better than having it not work at all.
