    So ive been dealing with issues with the current setup when they automatically put you on a subscription when buying live. Last couple times i contacted support, they cleared the past due balance, i bought more live, no issues. Now im told it cant be done,
    i have to wait 60 days for the past due to clear off then i can buy more gold. They literally told me i can either wait 60 days or just pay the past due. Im supposed to pay for a month subscription i dont want, didnt receive, and wont receive to spend more
    on top to continue with live, or i could just keep making new accounts and repeating the free trials and never pay for live again. Just throwing this out there on the forums because i still have no idea why the company would rather force me to exploit flaws
    to use their service freely instead of fixing a minor issue and keep a paying customer. For sure im letting everyone know buying live really isnt worth it just keep making throw away accounts. And for those who wanna keep it social, use your old xbox tag on
    the xbox app on a smartphone, then you can msg your buddies your throwaway acct tags for game invites! Easy walkaround for constant free gaming.

    When you purchase gold, game pass, or Ultimate through Xbox, you start a recurring subscription. If you don't turn off auto-renewal, the subscription continues the next month. You can try contact support and speak to billing to see if they can cancel it
    without having to pay off a balance first, but otherwise, they will suspend the account until you pay off the overdue balance. http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

    I'm having the same problem as you, without knowing i had past due amount owed i went to buy a code while out shopping.. When i tried to enter it im being told i need to pay $80. Just wondering how im charged $80 when my CC was expired and im sure as hell
    didnt get any xbl free during that time..

    Im down the amount of buying the code at the store and being forced to pay $80 for xbl...

    Isnt there an option just to pay the fee... My xbl ran out at the start of the month sooo i doubt in less then 1 month i owe $80...
