OK...That is the setup that is related...

Other info: AMD CPU/Vid. Screen 1 is VGA connection. Screen 2 is Olvevia TV, connected through the Xbox One with HDMI cables.

Before we put the Xbox one in the entertainment center, we did a test connection, and everything APPEARED to work, didn't verify 100%

Today, tried to use it, it didn't work. Turned out the cable between the PC and the Xbox One was disconnected. First attempt, I connected the HDMI-to-DVI cable that connected to monitor 1. Pulled that cable, found the cable from the Xbox One that was
supposed to connect to the PC and connected it.

When I connected the right cable [same cable as test connection] the computer reported the cable as HDMI-to-DVI instead of the HDMI that it is, thus I don't have sound going to my TV.

There is the chance it never worked. I didn't pay too much attention to the PC's main screen when I connected it.

What can I do to fix this? I will be researching how to make the computer force the sound anyways...

    Can I fix this?

    :)

You could try shutting down the computer before connecting the HDMI cables to see if that solves the problem. Otherwise you may have to wait for a reply from someone who is a little more computer savvy than I.

I didn't really need the whole Magic wand thing, but the sale price was outstanding. £270 saved, for the exact same price as the other models. No-brainer, really.

    [/quote]Definitely a nice LED.

Have you noticed and blurred effects playing action games?

How did you do the settings in the X1?

My TV [Olevia] isn't even listed as an option, but, there is more to it than that.
