Reverse compatibility

Why isn't a popular game such as COD MW3 reverse compatible with Xbox one. There's a bunch of lame ass games that are offered for free each month that are but the one game I prefer to play isn't offered. WHY IS THAT?

Reverse Compatibility

So, Halo Wars was SUPPOSED to be one of the 104 games to become available on Xbox One Reverse Compatibility on November 12th. I had Halo Wars as a physical copy AND a digital download copy (long story short, two Xbox 360's and only one copy of the game made
it hard to co-op with brother) though, I seem to have lost my physical copy. Well, it's not a problem if I want to play on my Xbox 360, however, I was hoping to be able to play it on my Xbox One. Hence my excitement when I saw it was one of the games coming
in mid November.

Well, despite having it as a digital download on my 360, I can't seem to redownload it on my One. I understand Microsoft said not all of the games might be available at launch, is Wars one of these unavailable games??? If so, that's slightly upsetting. If
that's not the problem, then I would like to know what is, because I'd rather not go out and pay $20 for a game I already own just to play it on my One.

Xbox one has 0 reverse compatibility

 

because they cant just offer any game, they need the publishers permission, its up to activision to allow games to be compatible

 

It's a long drawn out process, But you can always vote on which game you want to be reverse compatible!
