    Series X screen resolution


    No matter what game i play when I am playing a game and hit the guide button, My series x auto changes my resolution to something other then i selected. Is this the xbox or my monitor. I am using rog strix xg34vqr. thank you for your help

    Of course, 1080p (full-hd) resolution is supported by the Xbox Series X.

    Hi,

    The maximum supported resolution of Series S will be 1440P. Series X just like the Xbox One X before it will support 1440P too.

    It will work on your monitor, don't worry.

    Hi,

    The Series X supports 1080P resolution in the settings same as Xbox One and One X. Games on Series X will still render in 4K, but will downscale to whatever display you have. There won't be any loss in quality at all.

    Does the series x support 1440p 144/155 refresh rate?

    The Xbox Series X will do 120Hz but no more, regardless of resolution or monitor.

    I would check to see if other Xbox Series X owners have confirmed to achieve 1440p120Hz on those monitors before purchasing.

    Maybe a google of "xbox series x 1440p 120hz ___________ " and insert the monitor model to see if people have posted about their monitor and Series X working.
