Moderate NAt issue on Netgear N900

    Greetings SWANLEE!

Appreciate if you could post up the model number of your Netgear router, but also, the make and model of your modem as well.

Could you visit Netgear website and make sure your router router is up-to-date with the latest version of firmware.

Whenever you manually forward network ports, (Port Forwarding) make sure you have UPnP turned off.

    Thank you!

Unstable Upload Speeds on 2 OneX's

I have a Netgear Nighthawk R7000. Not quite the same model.

But am able to run two Xbox Ones and an Xbox 360 on it at the same time with open NATs and without needing to use static IP's, port forwarding or DMZ.

You actually should not be using the DMZ and port forwarding with two xboxes. You should be using UPnP entirely.

The Xbox under the DMZ may still be using the same Network port as the xbox using the port forwarding and conflicting with each other.

But with UPnP your router should automatically give both xboxes different network ports so they don't conflict.

What you should try doing is switching both Xboxes back to using Automatic IP addresses then remove all DMZ and port forward setting from your router and make sure UPnP is switched back on.

Reboot both router and xboxes after doing this.

Then check your NATs. If they are both open then it should be fine. If not you can tell one of the xboxes to use a different network port by going into the xbox advanced network settings then go to Alternate port selection and set an alternate port.

xbox one disconnecting from xbox live

Are you using port forwarding or UPnP. What is the make and model of your modem and also what is the model of your Netgear router?
