    Unable to change account region or start a conversation with a representative


    Recently moved to Korea. Trying to change my xbox live account region to Korea from U.S. but the "Next" button isn't working on
    Sign in to your Microsoft account. Also tried opening a chat with a representative but when I clicked on "Start Chat" it wouldn't work either.

    Services not fully restored after a 7 day communications suspension

    My account was subject to a 7 day communications ban, which ended on Tuesday November 17th. However, people are still unable to hear me in party chat or in game chat. What is extremely frustrating is that I have called for support twice, and both times the
    representative has hung up on me. The nature of the conversation was very polite. Where is the accountability? They end the call simply because they are stumped? Thus forcing me to restart from the beginning with another representative only to be hung up on
    a second time? I would sincerely appreciate it if someone could kindly review my account and assist me in a resolution. Thank you.

    Change region

    Hey there Viksphor! Let's see what we can do to get things sorted

    To start off, I suggest heading over to our
    Change the region of your Xbox LIVE account
    support page and checking under the section labeled "Conditions that prevent you from changing your region" to see if you meet any of those conditions.

    If you don't, and you're still unable to change your region, I suggest using the
    Contact Us
    page to set up a support call with an account specialist. They will be able to go through your account with you and see if there are any hold-ups there.

    Sorry to hear it. Please try giving phone support a call. They should be able to start a manual region change for you.

    Sorry, but you'll have to create a new account. You can't change account regions.

    Hi there unfortunately there is no way to change your region in less than 90 days. In this link

    support.xbox.com/.../change-region
    you will see how to change your region and the restrictions for changing it. If you have changed it in the last 3 months then you will be unable to change it.

    Yes, that is the US FAQ. If you change the region in the bottom left corner, it will show you the correct conversion for your region.
