    Hello, I have been getting the following error for the last 24 hours (We encountered an error and your subscriptions failed to load) I paid for the Xbox game pass PC subscription and it doesn't register in my account. In fact my whole account seems glitched as it is treating me like a new customer trying to offer me game pass for $1 a month as if I was a new customer despite having an active subscription. I have tried contacting support which didn't understand the problem very well and told me to cancel my subscription and refund it to see if that would fix the issue. It did not.

    Trying to click the $1 promotion results in the following error Something went wrong.Give it another try Something went wrong. DCAT-ResourceNotFoundRjGg/hkqO6l/YhPumijgSj.256.72021/03/31 - 23:28:02 UTC

    I have tried the following things to resolve this issue.

    1.) Uninstalling and installing the Xbox app (12 times) This did not resolve the issue

    2.) Uninstalling and installing the Xbox companion app (12 times) This did not resolve the issue

    3.) Signing out of all the accounts including the windows store account (5 times) This did not resolve the issue

    4.) Making sure I was signed into the same account as the active subscription, on the store, companion app and the xbox app (4 times) This did not resolve the issue

    5.) Making sure I did not owe any money for past subscriptions ( I did not )

    6.) making sure I have installed the newest updates to windows

    From what I can tell the account itself is glitched and it does not load past the pages you would see if you had opened up the app for the very first time. This should normally go away once you have signed into the account but im guessing due to this error that I can see when I sign in and go to my account settings ( We encountered an error and your subscriptions failed to load ) Due to this their is no way for the software to tell the difference between a new account and an account with an active subscription.

    I have verified that the subscription is active via my Microsoft account as well as with customer support over the phone. The only thing I can think of is that there is an issue server side. As I have tried reinstalling it several times. After reaching out to support and receiving no help on the matter I am reaching out to the community in hope that someone may have an answer for why this is happening and how to resolve it.

    Side notes: (The windows game store seems to recognize that I have an active subscription so it is exclusively something with the app. )

    Same issue. There's a huge thread on Reddit titled, "We encountered an error and your subscription failed to load". It's been up for a few days so that isn't promising.

    It's likely that the login status of the Microsoft Account which has the active subscription changed from the Microsoft Store app. I'm pretty sure the Xbox (beta) app uses the account signed into the Store app for verification purposes.

    Open the Microsoft Store app and click on the profile icon in the top right corner. Confirm that the correct account is logged into the Store and then verify it is the same account you are logged into the Xbox (beta) app. If the correct account is signed
    in, then simply log out of the Microsoft Store app and then log back into the Microost Store app.
    Tried it, it was the same account :/ signed in and out and did not work
