    I made a purchase to change my gamertag on xbox on the 23rd of the month of this post. After 3 days of no change to be seen (I've picked out the name and everything) I went to support to see what the issue was, they too could clearly see (Despite needing
    translators to communicate with me, an ENGLISH SPEAKER for English support, the errors were apparent) the proof of purchase and recommended me to get a refund and made it VERY CLEAR I was ABLE to get it and try requesting another gamertag change.

    This turned out to be a blatant lie as I requested a refund from the appropriate department with the information and support chat logs and they denied me two days later. I went to support again and they pretty much treated me with disrespect (probably with
    the language barrier again, Microsoft please fire these people, they do NOT understand me nor ENGLISH) and kept talking in circles like he understood the problem but didn't provide anything of substance. being out of options I replied to the denied email and
    let them know I would disassociate with microsoft gaming products if they didn't give me my refund.

    Needless to say they just copypasted their same response again. Proof that robots run the refund department because none of them read anything that I provided for them. I am beyond livid, I lashed out at refund department in an email again and told them
    a few choice words. I'm just fed up and tired, they owe me for something they failed to provide me. I am trying my hardest not to make this post colorful as well.

    What do I do? No one over at microsoft will hear me out nor see my issue! I am disgusted by the way I've been treated!

    It sounds to me like when you have been calling in for customer support, you have been contacting Microsoft. As we don't currently have the tools necessary to be able to appropriately address this matter, I would have to refer you to

    Xbox Customer Support
    .

    This can be done by following these simple steps:

    • Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
    • Step 2 : Select Billing and accounts then See other options
    • Step 3 : Select your Issue – Charges on my account
      • Select - Show contact options
      • Select – Request a call from Support

    I assure you, Xbox agents will be able to assist you with getting this address. I must say, that due to this being customer support, it might be a fix that will require you following up with the agent that takes your call.

    I already contacted support. That's how I know I owe 20 dollars to Microsoft. And no they couldn't help me at all with it. Plus as I stated Microsoft owes me 80 dollars. You watch this lawsuit now. I'm already filing.

    since it does sound like a month to month membership so the 12month membership was a prepaid card and you had purchased a month to month promotion?



    no there is no refunds on 1 month memberships and the payment must be made and replaced

    you can call support to remove the card once you paid off the balance

    turning off autorenewal after renewal doesn't stop pending balances

    its pretty simple if you want to cancel or not continue a service you always call to have it turned off

    cancelation requires a phone call to support
