    Xbox 360: Create an Xbox LIVE ID


    If I wanna sign in or up on an Xbox 360, do I have to create an account on the console or can I use my existing Microsoft Account?

    Whenever I play a backward-compatible title like Hydro Thunder on my Xbox One, it says to download a profile, by signing in with an account. Will that work or not, because I am not aware of it going to be work?

    To play games on your xbox 360 or xbox one console, you need an account created. You probably logged in with your email at the beginning of your console configuration.
    Well, I'm 14 and I actually made the account myself without the console configuration back when I was 13. So, no, I haven't logged in yet with my account on my Xbox console.

    To play games on your xbox 360 or xbox one console, you need an account created. You probably logged in with your email at the beginning of your console configuration.

    When trying to launch the xbox 360 game on xbox one, it will actually ask to download the profile. If you have it, click download. If not, just start normally.

    never mind. is the WLID a windows live ID? if so, it says the windows live id i use on my xbox 360 is the one i use on this website. it might be possible that i created an account on here before i bought an xbox 360, can i create a new WLID and associate
    that with my xbox and abandon 'magmaticuser 778' then re-download my profile?

    You can't delete it. You can still log into the one on your Xbox 360 with the Windows Live ID you created it with, here on xbox.com.

    Then you need to A change your windowslive id associated with the account then change the region of the windows live id

    Windows live id doesnt affect the region of Any xbox account

    B create they appropiate windows live id and use that instead
