According to the Latest Alpha skip ahead Insider release notes this is still an issue the engineers are tracking and working on.

Same issue after insider update by July,9 . check the insider form , this update just release today.

Try to use offline update method. still fail with error code E101 00000504 8B050041

If you wish to stay in the insider program, I suggest you start monitoring the Xbox Insider Release Notes page where update schedules are posted. Then you will know when there is an option to update and when it will become mandatory. You can keep up through this link. It will show things like this

This has been an issue for quite some time that hopefully is fixed with the Latest ASA Insider Release (Notes) April 3-4 2021.

I haven't tested it as yet and it will take a little while for this fix to filter down to the General Availability release of the Xbox OS.
