    Xbox One X Ethernet Connection Issue


    My Xbox One X has this is issue that if I plug in an Ethernet Cable into it. The Xbox does not register a cable and disconnects WiFi. After the Ethernet is pulled out; the Xbox reads connected via Ethernet with no internet information available. I can not connect to WiFi as it shows I already have my Ethernet cord it, even after I’ve pulled it out. I need to hard reset my Xbox in order to clear it so WiFi can be the first type of Internet Connection it has.

    Xbox one x is trash

    PB did a nice job but I'll add the issue is not the Xbox One X as it has a gigabit ethernet connection, so I'd take a long look at my router and the LAN switch ports.

    Unplug your Ethernet cord and goto the dashboard->system settings->memory-> then click (LB RB X LB RB X) then click yes. Then your xbox will restart. Plug in your Ethernet cord and connect to xbox live. If this does not fix your issue than Unplug your Ethernet
    cord and goto the dashboard->system settings->memory-> then click "Y" and clear your system catch (spelled it wrong) Then restart your xbox . Plug in your Ethernet cord and connect to xbox live. If this does not fix your issue than call Support ( 1-800-4MYXBOX)

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with your Xbox One X having a Moderate NAT type while connected to the internet using an ethernet cable. Have you attempted to change the port your cable is connected to on your router? Also,
    you may want to try using another ethernet cable.
