    Xbox one x freezes on minecraft


    I have recently switched to the Minecraft version. Not the xbox one version. The Xbox one version works fine but has about half the content as the Minecraft version. The Minecraft version turns my one x off in minutes. I have paid for the game and
    I do not understand why this is happening. I have uninstalled and re installed 3 times. I have cleared cache the same number. I have my one x plugged into the wall, not an extension cord. I have two external fans blowing on it, due to some online sources
    saying it was an overheating issue. My Xbox handles my stream and any other games played on it, with zero issues. I have done many 24 hour streams, playing other games and my Xbox did not shut off. It is just this version of Minecraft that does it. Please
    assist me, so my children and I can play.

    I have had issues with my memory being too full and minecraft freezing. See if you are getting full and try and free up some room. Hope that can help.

    Hey there Smasher300ZX,

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to get your game to run without the console turning off. I can totally understand how this could be pretty annoying. I suggest trying a soft reset of the console when you get the chance. It's a factory
    reset of the console that does not remove any games/apps.

    When you get the chance, review the information outlined in
    How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One    , select the option denoted reset and keep my games & apps, and let us know if that helped.

    Minecraft won't stop freezing...

    Even when I go through the inventory tutorial, Minecraft freezes. It's only Minecraft that's freezing by the way, my Xbox 360 doesn't and I can dashboard.

    Are you on an Xbox One X, by chance? There were some known issues in Metro Exodus with crashing and freezing on the Xbox One X, sadly. Hopefully these issues will be getting patched very soon.
