Xbox wont connect to the Internet without unplugging my wire

This problem just started recently, so it may have been the result of an update, but i can't find anything like this on the internet.

Whenever I start up my Xbox One (the limited edition Battlefield version), it logs me in (usually, sometimes not) but doesn't recognize that it's connected to the internet. Nothing I do "inside" the UI fixes it. The only way to get the box to recognize
it is to unplug the cable and plug it back in. That usually takes two attempts before it "takes" and it connects to the internet again.

Is anyone else running into this issue? Is there a way to fix it?

    :)

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot when I get home.

So weird that this just suddenly started happening.

    Xbox one S random crashes

When the connection to the internet crashes I can simply unplug and plug it back in to get my wired connection working again. This is so strange

Xbox is connected to the internet but wont connect to Xbox Live!

It fails when trying to connect to Xbox Live and it says that my system is connected to the internet. More info tells me to restart my modem and to unplug it for 30 seconds. The only thing is that I don't have a modem and I connect directly to an ethernet
outlet. I unplugged the console and my wired connection for 10mins and still couldn't connect.

    Internet problems

Hello I am sorry you are having internet problems with your one xbox? Are both of your xboxs connected to the internet in the same manner? (i.e. wirelessly, wired, distance from modem, etc.) Many things can cause one system to have stronger internet connection
    than the other. d

My suggestion would be to plug your xbox directly into your modem and make sure it can connect to the internet through the wire. Than after unplugging it try it wirelessly again, and see if it picks it up. A hard restart of the xbox has also worked for me
in the past when somehow my xbox isn't reading a connection. Turn of the xbox, unplug your power cord, wait 60 seconds plug it back in and turn your xbox back on.

    Good luck!
